Malaysia’s agricultural machinery trade is dominated by a small number of large authorised distributors, a long tail of local manufacturers of specialised implements, and a set of engineering firms that supply complete irrigation and mechanisation packages. Knowing which of those three you are talking to is most of the work in shortlisting a supplier — and the list below is weighted towards the first and third of those tiers, because authorised distribution and complete-system supply are the two that require you to be sure you are dealing with the right entity.
This is a list of ten of the companies listed under agricultural machinery, equipment and supplies in the Malaysian agribusiness directory. Every entry below is drawn from that company’s own directory listing — the descriptions are theirs, in substance, not ours. We are not ranking them, and no claim is made here that any of them is “the best” in Malaysia. The directory currently holds 44 companies in this category; these ten were selected because their listings describe a distinct, identifiable specialism rather than a generic “we supply everything” line.

What each one actually does
Kubota Malaysia Sdn Bhd
One of the most established names in Malaysian compact and utility tractors, with a rice transplanter line that matters in the paddy regions, and a diesel and gasoline engine range alongside it. The listing identifies the company as an importer and distributor rather than a dealer network in itself — worth asking directly which region their aftersales coverage covers, because the answer determines how far you should expect to travel for service.
Sime Darby Industrial Sdn Bhd — two listings, two businesses
This company appears twice in the directory under two registration numbers, and the distinction matters. The (59220-K) listing covers the CAT heavy equipment business under the Tractors Malaysia dealership name — construction and infrastructure machines rather than agriculture, though the same network services plantation and quarry work. The (102693-X) listing, recorded as formerly Tractors Malaysia (1982) Sdn Bhd, covers New Holland agricultural tractors. If you are specifying a tractor you are specifying the second one; if you are specifying a crawler or a heavy machine for peat work, you are specifying the first.
Nafas Jentera Sdn Bhd
Listed as an authorised distributor for FIAT agricultural tractors and for Case New Holland tractors, with the listing noting the FIAT line was upgraded from the FIAT series. Two brands under one roof, which in practice usually means one service counter and one parts relationship covering both — which is convenient, and worth confirming rather than assuming.
Palm Mach Sdn Bhd
Distributor of Landini and Yanmar tractors. Landini is the European marque; Yanmar is the Japanese one and is strongly associated with the compact and power-tiller segment that Malaysian vegetable and smallholder growers use heavily. This is a distributor with a defined two-brand portfolio rather than a general dealer, so ask how the aftersales split works across the two.
Farmtrac Malaysia Sdn Bhd
Listed as sole distributor for a broad multi-brand portfolio — Farmaster, Iseki, Cheng Gong, Agrimac and Sincos Agri among them. A sole-distributor portfolio is worth understanding precisely: it usually means you cannot buy a competing brand’s machine from the same counter, and that parts for the whole portfolio come through one channel. For buyers who want a range under one service relationship, that is an advantage; for buyers who want to compare against a different brand family, it narrows the conversation.
Dai Lieng Trading Sdn Bhd
Sales and after-sales support for heavy equipment spanning forestry, agriculture and plantation, quarry, construction, transportation and material handling. This is a multi-industry heavy equipment dealer rather than an agriculture specialist, which matters in one specific way: they will have the machines and the parts for the heavy end of the market, but their agriculture knowledge may be a fraction of their quarry or construction knowledge.
Joo Siang Chan Sdn Bhd
Unusually broad for a machinery listing — industrial diesel, the full range of agrichemicals, fertilizers and agricultural equipment for all crops, under one roof. That combination is convenient for a buyer who wants to consolidate spend and a caution for a buyer who wants a specialist recommendation on the machine. Decide which you are before the conversation.
Wastech Engineering Sdn Bhd
An engineering firm rather than a machinery dealer, supplying complete drip, sprinkler and turf irrigation and fertigation systems, including design, supply and installation. This is the category of supplier you need when you are buying a system and cannot buy it as products off a shelf. Irrigation is a design problem before it is a purchasing problem.
Sanyeong Agricultural Solutions Sdn Bhd
Distributor for the DJI Agras series agricultural drone and a certified service and support centre, plus a genuinely different offering: aerial application services, i.e. they will spray your crop with the drone. Spraying service is a different commercial relationship from selling you a machine — you are buying a rate per hectare, not a capital asset — and the two are worth evaluating separately.
How to verify any of these before you call
Each company name above carries its Malaysian company registration number, as published in SSM records. That number is the single most useful thing on this page, because it lets you check that the legal entity at the counter is the same entity that will invoice you. You can search a registration number on the official Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (SSM) e-Info system and confirm the company name and status.
Beyond the registration number, we would ask each of them the same three questions before narrowing further: who is the authorised distributor in writing, where are the parts held today and what is the lead time on the three parts most likely to fail on this machine, and what is the service response commitment in hours. Suppliers who answer all three concretely are worth the second call.
The other 34, and how to find them
These ten are a sample, not a shortlist. The full category — 44 companies including local manufacturers of sprayers, spreaders, seeders and harvesters, and the specialists in engines, pumps, tillers and nursery equipment — is in the agricultural machinery, equipment and supplies directory listings, each with its registered number, contact details and a description of its business.
If you are not sure which type of supplier you need, our buyer’s guide to agricultural machinery suppliers in Malaysia sets out the four categories most buyers shop for and the questions to ask before you shortlist anyone at all.
